We were all eagerly waiting for what Google comes up in I/O 16 . It’s over now and here we present you with the key points and the “Biggest” Announcements :-

Google has just launched its Assistant AI, which will work like a chatting bot. Similar to Siri (Apple Chatbot), Google Assistant helps the user to minimalistic the work. You can ask questions and make a request to the assistant. Like if you want to reserve a seat in a particular restaurant then google assistant will show the nearby restaurants and ask you about how many seats to book then it will automatically book them for you.
” Always on call”. Google Home is a voice-activated home product that allows you and your family to get answers to your questions from Google, stream music, and manage everyday tasks.
It is a smart messaging app which learns over time, make conversations easier, more expressive and productive by bringing the richness of Google rights. Allo Is based on your phone number so you can easily get in touch with anyone in your contact list. You can search photos, make a reservation or do similar stuff without even leaving the app.
It is a simple one to one calling app for everyone. DUO is a video companion to ALLO. It is fast and also good at a slow network .It is end to end encrypted and based on your phone number so you can easily get in touch to the people who you care. Duo is for both Android and IOS. The main feature which makes Duo unique is “knock-knock.” This function shows you the live video stream of the caller before picking up the call. Basically, you can also say that it’s a new competitor for Apple’s Facetime.
It is a platform for high-quality mobile virtual reality. This function will be a part of the all new Android N and will mainly focus on end to end user experience. According To Google, Daydream ready smartphone will have high-performance sensors for accurate head tracking, Displays with fast response time (to minimize blur) and powerful processor. If a phone have all these rigs then it will be capable of delivering a great VR. It’s a both Hardware and software initiative by Google.
Android Wear 2.0:
Android Wear gets an update 2.0 which makes it more unique. Now you can use your smartwatch without your phone. Features like automatic exercise recognition and better third-party app syncing should help this, too. And, of course, Google showed off a tiny, swipeable QWERTY keyboard.
Android Instant Apps:
Imagine if you want to use an app without downloading it. Google make it possible, now you can use an application without download it. This is good for the consumer who want to use application once but Is it good for the developer who want more downloads on their app.
Android N Fast, Smart & Better:
The developer preview has split-screen multitasking, quick settings buttons, and a new set of emoji.But at Google I/O, Google launches a Beta version which has good control over notification area and a new picture in picture mode.It has a new API called Vulkan, that lets developers directly control a phone’s GPU for sharper 3D graphics. Having good battery optimization options and a new VR mode through which you control your phone through VR headset.
Chromebook Get Updates:
Now you can use more Android apps on your Chrome OS. This update is coming later this year. Apps work with a trio of touchscreen-enabled laptops: ASUS Chromebook Flip, Acer Chromebook R11, and the latest Chromebook Pixel. There’s more cross-compatibility to come.
