Did you ever think about how many time’s you use “Refresh” button while operating a Windows computer? Does it refresh your Windows OS and keep it running smoothly? Does it make your Windows faster? Or maybe you think it will clear your computer’s memory or refresh the RAM…?It’s none of these!

refresh button

So what is the aim of the Refresh button??

When you click Refresh on your desktop, then desktop works as a folder in the Windows operating system. In windows, Folder’s were programmed to auto refresh when its content’s change and when you find that auto refresh is not working then you manually refresh it.

Some of the circumstances when you need to refresh your desktop manually:-

1. While aligning your icons on the desktop (Folder).

2. When desktop does not show your files which you have just moved, deleted, renamed, or saved, etc.

3. When files do not come up which were created by the 3rd party apps.

You can use the shortcut F5 or use
“Refresh” button manually by right clicking your mouse button.

After reading this article your views might change about Refresh button and now maybe you can stop using refresh button more frequently.
